Aim	To make the European Standards as friendly as possible, Guide 3 [IFAN 3,2008] focuses on the technical writing of a standard document and its diffusion .
checklists	Checklist with 17 questions about the text of the standard. The first section is about the structure and wording. Section 2 is about national issues concerning the status of a European standard (EN) status. The last section checks the presence of textual information to assist end-users to employ the standard.
Focus	IFAN Guide is valid for all sort of standards, but it doesn’t make any reference for standards on the service sector.
