Description
ISO member bodies or correspondent bodies which follow the worh of the committee or subcommittee as an observer. They follow the development of a standard, and possibly to make contributions to the work, without committing themselves to active participation.
National bodies free choice
A national body may choose to be neither P-member nor O-member of a given committee, in which case it will have neither the rights nor the obligations indicated above with regard to the work of that committee.
National bodies rights
All national bodies irrespective of their status within a technical committee or subcommittee have the right to vote on enquiry drafts and on final draft International Standards.
