  1. The operations of ISO are governed by the Council.
  2. Council appoints the
    • Treasurer,
    • the fourteen members of the Technical Management Board, and
    • the Chairpersons of the policy development committees.
  3. It also decides on the annual budget of the Central Secretariat.
